Last week I experienced my first art showing. Prior to the show, I felt great excitement and creativity flowing mixed with a subtle fear of being seen- my art seen and exposed to be judged by the eyes of the world. I took note of the differing emotions as I continued to prepare for the show.

Until recently, painting has been more of a transformational tool for me. First, to release fear and open to love in my own life and then to help others. As you may know, until a few weeks ago, I had not painted in over a year. To my surprise, the creation was more than I could have imagined.

The importance of creative expression flooded my mind, body, heart and spirit. I believe that we are in a constant state of co-creation with the universe. Through opening our hearts, we can allow an effortless flow. When painting, my intention is to directly acknowledge our differing emotions in the limitless effort to provide love to ourselves and to others.

Creating awareness of the subtle fear creeping in allowed me to clear it- to change my thought to a more loving thought and feel gratitude for this beautiful day. The transformational force of love expanded the day of the art show and I was shown how we are never alone. Help arrived throughout the entire day, increasing the depth of love and gratitude in my heart. There are angels here on earth when you allow yourself to see them.

Do you allow yourself to be seen? What is stirring inside of you yearning to be expressed? I would love to hear your comments below.

Thank you to all of you who supported me in stepping towards my dreams before, during and after my first art show!

All my love,
Robin
