The holidays can be a challenging time! It is an easy time to live each day at a fast pace and spend more time with our families. The stress can build up and time with family can allow emotions to easily surface. The holidays present a wonderful opportunity to learn more about who we are and how we want to live each day.
The journey of personal growth to me… is exactly what it is called… Personal! No one journey is alike. However, there is a oneness that connects us all. When we truly take a step back to look at the larger picture, we can understand why we drove ourselves to exhaustion trying to make everything perfect, felt irritated with our loved one, or committed to the event we really didn’t want to attend. Understanding ourselves allows us to have more compassion for ourselves and others.
How can we begin to understand ourselves more?
- Create awareness- Take a moment to take a deep breath and center yourself. Otherwise, we can get stuck in a cycle of reaction.
- Ask yourself, “What am I feeling right now?”
- Allow yourself to trust the answer you receive and make a heart-centered choice on what action you want to take.
I encourage you to create awareness this month on how you are choosing to live your life. Are you listening to the guidance that is there when you choose to open your mind to it?
Happy Holidays!
With love,
Robin
hmmm! This is like throwing a dart with a blindfold on, it can land anywhere.
This TIME of year, for me is most sacred. I see everything in cycles, there is a birth and a death in all our experiences. Therefore, these holi-days allow us the opportunity to experience expansion. We grow during this period, yet most of us, are truly unaware. This is where we shed our skins, we shine our oh so ever holy light, and grieve those human shortcomings. We take in a big sigh of grief, as we release our beliefs and limitations that we believe we are, and we step into our light. Every encounter is an indication, where we are, what we need to heal and what we have overcome.
Nothing, absolutely nothing is wasted, all serves a higher purpose, our purpose. If we are AWAKE we see how every choice, lead us to where we are…
So, family, friends, stranger..even random encounters are simply guidepost to where we are going, where we’ve been and ultimately where we are.
…and where we are is where we are supposed to be.
Just look at nature, what is it telling you, right now? It’s saying- BE STILL, and prepare.
We are at the brink of a re-birth… there will be pain, and there will be focus… and ultimately there will be love.
Thank you for sharing, Yissell! Beautifully said. Trust the voice within and let love heal. <3
